'88 IROC lower body stripe?

'88 IROC lower body stripe?
I am in the process of saving/salvaging/reconstructing a 1988 IROC-Z convertible

and I am somewhat confused about the type of lower body stripes used on this car. The RPO code is 86A STRIPE COLOR, ACCENT, TWO TONE RED/GUNMETAL (91) .
BUT the only ones I have seen available are BLACK/BRIGHT RED! What is the deal with that (or 'whazupwidat?).
The car had been repainted by the previous owner, and so I do not know what it may have looked like originally. As you can see they had re-installed the door decals in the wrong location. Does anyone have one with the original lower body stripes (86A)?
