I need the specs of the heads of my car . . .
I just got my hands of a 1987 pontiac GTA, it has the TPI 5.7 with the digital dash and rear disc brakes. At high RPM there is serious valve clatter, Maybe due to an overheat? I want to see if the heads are worth rebuilding, does anyone know the intake runner size, valve sizes, and CC size for this year and model heads?

Your heads are iron, 64cc chambers, 155-160cc intake ports, 1.94"/1.50" valves, pressed-in rocker studs. Nothing special, but they aren't bad, either.

Excellent! Thanks, the heads should be good for a budgeted performance build between 325-375 HP.
