I have a black 1989 IROC. It has just come to my attention that maybe my car is a clone or it was repainted at some point. I believe this because my car is suppose to be an 89 IROC but the decals are positioned toward the front not the rear.

Am I correct to assume this?

 

Don't base it on the decals because the decals changed location over the years. They were moved from the back to the front or something at some point. I know they changed location over the years but I forget the details. I know there are people on here who know the changes better than me.
