I know there was cut outs in the firebird/trans am front bumper grills for fog lights

but i cant find a picture or item for sale anywhere for a fog light switch

i know 83-84 trans ams had the delete plates in the places of the grills

so....if there were not fog lights for the 82 trans am/82-84 firebirds

what was the purpose for the cutouts in the grills? just air for the radiatior?

There were never any lights used behind the 82-84 Firebird/Trans Am grill. Those didn't start until 1985.

ok thanks i just figured those square cuts in the front grills were meant for fog lights

i have a 86 that i converted to 82-84 style and i use those cut outs for my stock fog lights

had to fabricate the brackets but looks great

was just trying to convert my 86 gray buttons to 82 black buttons but the fog light doesnt exist and now i know why
