Bilstein Strut And Shock Rebuild Service

Recently I was informed by Bilstein they will rebuild their shocks and struts. I have Bilstein on my IROC and they quoted me $75 each for rebuilding struts and $65 each for shocks.

They will keep the original valving Chevy chose for the IROC or change the valving to their current specs.

You might want to check with Autozone on new Bilstein shocks. They don't stock 'em so get the part number first. I just put Bistein on my truck at $60/each for heavy duty 4x4 shocks. They also have a promotion running for buy 3 get 1 free. That comes in cheaper than having 20 year old parts rebuilt.

Scott,

According to one employee at Autozone the offer is only good for truck/SUV shocks.

Re: Bilstein Strut And Shock Rebuild Service

That would explain why I know about it then as I recently replaced my truck shocks.

Bilstein is considered the best aftermarket shock you can get. They aren't cheap, but the best things in life never are!!

Re: Bilstein Strut And Shock Rebuild Service

Let me put it to you this way.

89 TTA stock suspension. Rides little harsh, etc.

91 GTA 70k stock suspension with KYB's and rides like a truck. Pretty much sucks and I hate it.

91 Formula Eibachs, poly bushings, yadda yadda yadda and Bilsteins..... rides firm and compliant and gives up nothing on handling at any time.

U have one with Bilsteins and u wont use anything else..............

The entry price tag hurts u though
