Need feedback on this car.

Hi,
I hope this is the right place to ask this, I've read the stickies and know that there is no sure way to price a car, but take a look at this.

I'm looking for an 87-92 Z with a 350, but I want it for a donor car. I want the engine and tran to put in my 84.

I've been having a hard time finding a 350, and then today found this one. I'm just not sure is this car really 'rare', I'm thinking it's not, but not sure if that color/combo like he says make it more rare?

So just wanted to see if any of you had any suggestions on what to offer him? Or if this car is rare, that I shouldn't use it for a donor? I don't want to ruin a more collectible car, just to get mine back on the road again.

OR if any of you are in WA and have an 87-92 350 donor that I could buy that works too

That's sort of how I feel, and wanted to get a second opinion.
But I've been trying to find more beat up 5.7L but they are getting harder to find. Or, they'll advertise them as 350's and turns out they are only a 305's.

So now looking at anything that pops up on CL, and saw this one. It has what I want, but don't want to destroy something if it's actually rare.

Darn, I thought finding a donor car would be the easy part of this swap

not sure about rare, I have seen a few of them. I know there was just one for sale in the Flint, Michigan craigslist. I think they wanted $2000 or something like that for it. Looks like a really nice car, and price seems good from what i see.

Re: Need feedback on this car.

Looks like too nice of a car to scrap to me.

Why do you want to scrap a 350 Camaro/Firebird just for the engine/trans? Seems like it would be cheaper and easier to just buy the parts...

Re: Need feedback on this car.

From what I've been told in my swap thread, the easiest way to get a 350 in my car would be to get a donor car and swap everything over from a donor car.

They said to get a TPI car, so I would need engine, tran, tank, wiring, computer ect.
So I would rather have donor car, and know I have everything I need. Instead of starting, and realized I need another part here and there. I also want to swap out my hood with a Z hood and some other stuff too. So i think it would be cheaper overall to have a donor.

But if this one is too nice, then I'll keep looking. I'm hoping to find one that's been hit in the side or something, so then I won't feel so bad stripping it down. Just so far, havne't been able to find anything like that.

that color isn't extremely rare, but is very hard to find, and looks way to nice to tear up
