Transmission: Auto Both
Axle/Gears: 3.23 and 2.73
91-92 trans am door ground effect??
well am looking for the molding or whatever u want to call it, the ones that go on the doors of trans am just above the ground effects. what are these called and any ideas where i can find them

Your best bet would be to start at the dealership if you want new. Classic Industries, or Year One, might have them new also, but you'll generally pay less buying from the dealer and you won't have to pay shipping.
If you don't mind used, it shouldn't be hard to find what you're after in the salvage yards. Most base model Firebirds had the W68 GFX same as a Trans Am. You could also try the classifieds here.

PART HAS BEEN DISCONTINUE. AND AROUND HERE IN DELAWARE I CAN'T FIND ONE. DONT KNOW IF YEARONE HAS ONE, BUT THERE PRICE MIGHT BE HIGH, WOULD LIKE IT USED.

PART HAS BEEN DISCONTINUE. AND AROUND HERE IN DELAWARE I CAN'T FIND ONE. DONT KNOW IF YEARONE HAS ONE, BUT THERE PRICE MIGHT BE HIGH, WOULD LIKE IT USED. ALSO HAVE IT FOR SALE 91 TRANS AM CONVERTIBLE I THINK ITS #34 OF 555 MADE IN 91, BLACK, ALL POWER. AM ASKING 3500 OR A TRADE FOR ANOTHER 88-90 TRANS AM OR A CAMARO 88-92.

BY THE WAY, I LIVED IN WILMINGTON AND BOUGHT AN 85 BIRD FROM UNION PARK PONTIAC. SOLD IT FOR MY 91 TA VERT AFTER MOVING TO ATLANTA AND STILL HAVE IT HERE IN FL.
I HAVE NEVER BEEN ABLE TO DETERMINE WHERE IN ASC'S THE PRODUCTION SEQUENCE MINE WAS BUILT. I DO KNOW THE ASC DOOR JAM LABEL SHOWS IT WAS CONVERTED IN MARCH OF 91 AND THE CAR CAME OUT OF VAN NUYS IN SEPT 90. I AM HOPING THAT YOUR INFO MAY HELP ME NARROW DOWN THE TIMELINE.
