I have an 88 camaro 305 tbi no rpo codes it has a wonder bar it has a builtin third brake light in the spoiler it says z28 in small letters on the inside of the front bumper but the only thing is that the original color looks like a baby blue... and supposedly irocs were not produced in baby blue in 1988 only sport coupes were... any ideas/.

The Z28 stamp in any of the body parts doesn't mean anything. 88-90 everything used the same body parts as the Z28 (except the hood and wheels). Same with the 3rd brake light. The only thing that sounds Iroc is the wonderbar, and it's not uncommon to find them on cars other then Irocs. It's been a popular mod on this forum for at least 13 years, and it was well known back then.

Yeah, there was only one colour of blue offered in '88 . . . Bright Blue Metallic - Code 23 (WA 9184), and it was only available on the Sport Coupe. If it's original to your car (as you said) and you know that for sure, then that's what you have, with a few minor changes over the years.
ugh dissapointing... that really sucks... but when i put in the vin on these websites they say iroc..even though u cant tell if it is by vin how would these websites know that
