Car: 1987 Black Iroc Camaro
Engine: 5.7l TPI
Transmission: a4 automatic
Axle/Gears: borg warner9 bolt 3:.27
rpo codes for my iroc
i have rpo codes uq1 uq4 and uu8 i dont ive been told its for a bose/delco radio and set up but i dont know what any of this stuff looks like since the interior of my car is torn all to hell from the guy i just bought it from any info would help

Funny, I figured being an RPO code thread someone would look them up and answer the question and I could sit back and NOT walk the 10 feet to the book case.
Anyway, UU8 is the Delco Bose cassette deck.
If the components are missing, you'll probably have a hard time finding them. For 1987 the Bose system was pretty good. By the early 90's when I started shopping these cars, there weren't very many that had a Delco Bose system that was still intact and functional. If you're doing a restoration, and you don't mind hunting for the parts, you might want to piece a working system back together. Most people just junk the Bose stuff, and install aftermarket components.
