trying to get back into camaros . found an 86, perfect body besides being purple. v-8 305 (guessing) carb. other than having to paint it not hip on the plum crazy purple . what do i look for on an 86 model (the bad). anyhow he said for me he'd take 600.00. good deal or not? has sat in garage for two years. has rally rims on it, i think belong to a older chevy.

 

Look for rust,....... everything else can be purchased and bolted in place.

ANY car that runs / drives under it's own power is worth $600. If it's got a valid inspection sticker in the window - tach on a couple hundered more. Scrap cars are getting 300-400 these days as scrap metal prices are up again ( 185 a ton for Light steel )
