Hey should i buy this firebird?

Hey guys theres a guy selling a 90 firebird v6 about an hour away from here body is in nearly perfect condition from what i can tell, good interior, hes selling because he got his license taken away and its been sitting for 5 years and doesnt run. Wants $900 for it im thinkin of offerin $750. Yes? And any special reasons it wouldnt be running besides lack of fresh gas and spark? Oh almost forgot its red and a hardtop.

750 is to much for a v6 that wont start I say 500 max
plus check the floors make sure they are rock solid

Where has the car been sitting for the past five years? In a garage? In his yard? Check for rust damage.

another thing i do when im looking at a car that the owner says doesnt run i try to bring a few basic things with me if u have them such as a spare battery a small gas can and a small basic tool set and i see if i cant tinker with it a little bit if the owner will let me and see if i cant get it to run or get a good idea of why its not running.. and that can be tricky because i did this once with an iroc about 2 months ago i got the car to run and the owner decided he didnt wanna sell it... it had sat for a while and the gas guage was broken he thought it worked it read half a tank i slapped a battery in it poured some gas down the carb and it fired right up... so what i try to do now is figure out whats wrong and if ur positive you found the problem pay the guy get the title fix it on the spot and drive away

The problem with that is if you get it running the seller will want more for it. Also if you don't buy it you out the time and effort for fixing it for free.

what's your problem? I was pointing out something that you appeared to miss. I wasn't trying to hurt your feelings.
