'88 IROC 'vert optioned with child safety hooks for car seat?
We were going through the invoice for our 88 IROC, and in one it shows where GM installed child safety hooks.. I can't seem to find where these would be, does any one else have them?

Do you mean the tether anchors? I have never seen then installed in a 3rd gen vert. One thing to note, most convertibles (including ours) currently fall under an exemption clause (Canada) for them. I carry a copy in my ride because most police and checkstops have no idea about this. I'll try to post a link to the exact legislation soon.
I personally don't like to travel with my kids like this, with the forward child seat secured only with the seat belts. But it is handy when traveling around the block or at large car shows. If you do plan on taking them down the highway or busy streets, then I recommend not too or figure out where to put the tether anchors. The exemption for verts is due to possible structural and roof interference reason.
Not sure about what the possible invoice detail is.
PS; I do believe that even in regular cars, GM/Chev/Pontiac wasn't even reqired to put them in until well past '88.
Maybe it refers to locking retractible seat belts. The kind that when pulled all the way out the lock in position as they retract. However, those too I didn't think appeared until later years.
