How Much do our cars weigh?
i have a 1989 trans am, wanted to know a ballpark of how much t weighs, stock. thanks

Yep, that's right in the ballpark. My '82 T/A weighed in at 3400, and my '89 Formula 350 weighed exactly 3262 lbs, but I had it built as light as possible.

yeah i know you can get them pretty close to 3000-3100 by putting lightweight stuff in like aluminum front impact bumper, aluminum radiator, aluminum driveshaft, fiberglass hood, taking seats out maybe, taking out the smog equipment and a/c.

My fully loaded 87 IROC-Z was invoiced and shipped with a weight of 3478#. I would think the Trans Am would be in that ballpark depending on options.
