I think the miles help it but being a base v6 kills it.. Could be worth about 4-5 if perfect to the right collector
Re: is this worth the money
That's Worth it try to get it to him for 3,250 Get that low Be like i have cash money in my hand right now. When people see you pull out the money. That car is worth 6 right now for sure. dependin on today's economy

What's it worth to you? For most people here, the V6 kills it completely. Unless it's a sub-thousand dollar car, it's probably not going to sell fast. The mileage might make it worth $3,500 but finding a buyer at all for a V6 thirdgen is a real pain in the ***. Assuming the economy was better and the car is in minty condition, I'd say it's probably worth at most around $2,500. It'll never be in any real demand because of the engine.

That's true drew I drove the v6 I hated it. I thought i was driving the chevy lumina listening to that fart can rumble i thought. I couldn't resist the v8 sound so i ended up buying a v8 with 100000 miles for 3 grand no rust drove run inside interior was clean t top headliner doesn't droop only a little. Engine was rebuilt 30 over supposvily. I tested compression it had 24-25. Engine will last another 200,000 miles atleast it runs very nice to. No body rust at all t-tops did i over pay??

It's a tough call because prices are all over the place right now. In general the cars that are really collectible are the ones with the most performance and the ones that were the flagships of the line. That kind of kicks all the base models where it counts.
There are some really nice cars out there right now, for not a lot of money. I generally say $3-6K is the price range for decent, top of the line cars. Not necessarily show condition cars, or museum pieces, but decent drivers that look ok from twenty feet. Subtract a bit if the engine isn't a High Output version, subtract more if it's a V6. Add a bit for desirable options. Subtract a lot for cosmetic and mechanical issues. Bad paint or body damage is a huge hit.

For a fun Sunday afternoon cruiser, I'd say $3,500 for a 25k mile clean V6 is worth it more than a 100k mile V8, but that's me. Mileage and condition are paramount to me. At the same point, Drew is right...V6s garner no live around here.
I shoot for $2500 but if it is really clean in person, it may be worth $3500.
My car is a 43k original mile V-8 but it is only the LG4 engine with no options or no factory radio.
As I mentioned before, what sold me on how clean the interior is.
Every person who has come up to me in the 4 months I have owned it has said that is the cleanest 3rd gen they have seen in a long time.

hey thanks everyone. i already have a 95 z28 all done up with the mods so its not like i wont have a decently fast car. i just figured for a cruiser its be nice to have a clean 3rd gen. honestly what drew me to it was that it was like a brand new car from 84. hearing it was a v6 tho kinda sucked. i may have to run some cash in hand by him and see if it changes. i was thinking 3 would be fair being its as clean as it is.

And yet another thread about wanting to beat down the price of a Thirdgen.
So, tomorrow, will there be another thread asking how come the prices are so low and thirdgens get no respect?
