So ive been considering on getting rid of my 87 lb9 in the spring and im kind of wanting a ball park figure of what i would be able to get out of it. its black, t tops, 72,xxx miles, extremely clean no rust on the entire car, automatic, headers, full 3" stainless steel flowmaster exaust, new front tires and tune up (accel wires, cap and rotor, recent oil change and brakes). T tops do leak a little bit. k&n filters, a/c worked i was told when i bought it but did the delete pulley on the a/c and got rid of the smog pump. i do still have the smog pump. other than that the rest is unmolested. What do you guys think itd be worth or can get out of it? can ppost pics if wanted?

 

Impossible to tell without pics but deleting the AC won't help the value so I'd return the car to stock for top dollar since it's only lightly modded.

 

it was only the belt that was taken off, can easily throw a belt back on, will try to post pics

 

Did you do a delete pully and remove the smog pump, or did you just remove the belt. If all you have to do to restore the car to stock is put the belt on, then why did you take it off in the first place?

I am ballpark guessing 4k on the low end, and if you can bring it back up to stock with the AC and smog pump I would say its worth another thousand. Any rust negates my estimate.

 

the torque thrusts wouldnt go with it tho theyre for my 69

 

i didnt do it, the person i bought it from did that, im guessing just to free up any bit of horsepower, ive only had the car since mid summer

 

I would say $4k or thereabouts, if the interior is in great shape.

 

interior is decent, has a tear in the drivers seat, but missing the headliner, honestly the t tops do leak a lil thats why im guessin theres no headliner, i do plan on getting this fixed though

 

My guess would be close to $4k. I wouldn't take less than $3k.

 

i was thinking the same thing. i honestly paid much less than 3k for the car if you believe that or not lol im at the point where i want to mod it and make it faster but its close enough to being all original why not keep it that way. so instead of molesting it, just going and buying a 5.7 iroc or possibly a 4th gen

 

Price? Too many variables to tell you without seeing the car. If you want an online estimate, than I'd say anywhere between $1k and $8K!!

Honestly, asking for an estimate from people that have never seen the car, heard it run, driven it, verified it's options and cleanliness is like asking the store clerk for the winning Lotto numbers for Wednesday night.

after looking at some of the comps close to yours in my area, I would say anything between 5600 on a low end and 7200 on a higher end. glws

 

i was only trying to get a rough estimate from what others are going for for the miles and it not being molested except for exaust. Like i sed its as clean underneath as it is on the outside. not a spot of rust on the entire car and it having 72xxx miles
