History on TPI??
I'm trying to find the history of the tpi setup, first time use etc. All the development information. Anyone know where to find it?

In Short:
1976 Port FI was introduced on Cadillacs and on Nissan 280Z's
1985 The TPI was introduced on the Firebird and Camaro and Corvette production Vehicles. The system used a 8Bit processor, F-bodies got 5.0L and Vette got 5.7L
1986, The TPI was upgraded to 16bit processing
1987 L98 (350) was introduced on F-body, as was a Manual Transmission option
1989 the Cold Start (9th injector) was dropped
1990 MAF (Mass Air Flow) sensor was replaced by a MAP (Manifold Air Pressure) often called "SD" or Speed Density.
1992 Only the F-body got TPI, the Vette went to the LT1, which was introduced on the F-body in 1993....
