Axle/Gears: 3.23 10bolt waiting to explode.

Yep, based on this toy commercial, they did. Though besides the body I don't see much "thirdgen" about it.

Wow, I don't remember that one. I had the "Orange Blossom" and "Black Gold" toys from the same series. Probably around 1985.
