Need Info on 1987 Rs
I have a 87 camaro rs with sunroof made in the norwood ohio plant.I read on here that the only colors that you could get that car in that year at that plant was red black and white.Now on the vin on mine the code is yellow. Can anyone help

If you have a true RS in 1987 it had to be made at the Van Nuys, California plant and the 11th digit of the Vin# should be a L for Van Nuys. Also, it should have the RPO Z5C which all these RS have along with only a V6 engine. You couldn't order it with a V8. All the ground effects should be the same color as the rest of the car on these RS models and they came with the same steering wheel as the Irocs with the round horn assembly and not the type that came on the sport coupes with the square horn assembly. Are you sure you don't have an LT sport coupe which they built at both the Norwood and Van Nuys plants. If is an Lt it has to have the RPO B4E. Show us a picture of your SPID sheet we'll figure out what you really have.
