$30,000 is really not far off for a TTA in that condition. And I think there was 1200 or so made? Not sure though. But I do know they are rare and command major money for a thirdgen.

Re: How special is this car?

They made 1550 of them, they're all the same color combo, the only differences are some had t-tops/hard tops, some had cloth/leather seats. The hardtop, and cloth seats are more unusual. Since they were a one year only, pace car, with a unique high performance drivetrain and an appropriate higher price tag, many of them were never driven much, they were an instantly collectible car. More of them are still in mint condition then beater condition. As such they aren't really that rare, or special. They're actually really boring once you get past the increased performance.

Re: How special is this car?

Not THAT rare as the vast majority of them have survived and still have low miles versus other third gen's. Certainly one of the most desirable mass-produced factory third gen's built though, right up there with 92 Firehawks and 1LE cars IMO.

Car is probably worth around $25,000 retail with miles and condition.
