1988 Firebird Pro/Am?
1988 Firebird Pro/Am?
Hi everyone. I'm new to these forums and to the Pontiac world. I'm interested in buying this firebird off Cl and I was wondering if some of you knowledgeable people could enlighten me on this potential beast. Here are the 3 pictures the seller posted.

Re: 1988 Firebird Pro/Am?
Looks good to me. I have the same engine and she is strong. My camaro is the same color as well. Check the interior out, look for odd wiring, keep a nose out for burning flUids, etc. Be smart and don't let the awesomeness cloud your judgement. I bought my 89 RS 305 TBI for $1500. I meed to invest roghly $3k to be perfect.

You didn't say what he's asking for it but treat it like any other basic Firebird. A Pro/Am is nothing but an aftermarket conversion package and it doesn't really increase the value of the car at all.
