Does anybody know where to find a NEW set of the 8 engine cradle bolts? I can find literally every other bolt on my 86 IROC in a kit somwhere, but not the 8 bolts that hold the cradle in.

If I can't find them in a set, I may just make a trip to Fastenal and see what they can do for me.

 

Did you try a dealership? It's about a 50/50 shot that they'll be cosmetically identical, but they will be the same size and have the same capabilities. They might not look the same, but they'll work without failing.

The next best alternative would be junkyard bolts + wire wheel + rattle can or junkyard bolts + media blast + oxide treatment if money is no object.

 

I didn't realize this project went on hold 3 years ago, but with home projects and whatnot, the IROC has been sitting untouched. I actually found these bolts this past weekend if anybody else ever ends up looking. They were on spohns website. I know years ago nobody had them. Just got a whole lot more goodies in.
