ok guys I was putting in my new 4x6 kenwoods yesterday and found a small slip of paper that says "1991 F-CAR IP TEST RESULTS AUG90 TIME 07/10 10:24 VIN # 149002 TESTER ID # 001 CHEVORLET MAN L03" and then has a big OK under it made of the letters O and K.

Anyone have a clue what this is and what exactly it means? Just curious thought it was a neat find in my car.

 

Instrument panel test passed/ ok and the car and person conducting the test.
I have found them in most of my cars. nifty

yea some use the search feature and if it actually worked right more would.Type in something then spend 4 hours sorting through the stuff that has nothing to do with your search word.Thats why nobody uses it.

 

Completely agreed! The search feature is a joke when you want to find something relevant in under an hour, lol.

 

It works just fine, you just have to be smarter then the machine. You have to search for the unique term that is relevant to what you're after. Search "IP test" on this forum and you'll find 9 threads, how hard is it to read them? Usually you can find an answer faster then waiting for someone to reply to a thread.
