What did your Third Gen get for Christmas?
My wife bought me the console lid I so desparately need. Got a few other things coming next week when we visit her parents on the Cape.

My girlfriend got me this because i recently bought marchall foglights (79-82 mustang OEM ones with the white covers)

Well, I broke out the big guns and on Christrmas Eve Eve - bought the NOS Dual Gate Shifter in the box. It was a gift to the car and myself and hopefully we will be able to get them reproduced. It is the ONLY aftermarket shifter that looks like a factory option.

Well, this could be restoration if people were restoring, so in that line of thinking...
My car got an NOS coolant overflow tank cap, new center caps for my rims since the old tabs starting cracking, a rebuilt tranny since GM couldn't build it to handle the torque that it comes with and a fresh polishing by the buffer I got for Christmas! The car made out pretty well.

Well, I guess in some ways I got a third gen for Christmas. I picked up an '82 pace car a few weeks ago and have been mapping out how to clean her up. I've got parts for a basic tune up so far (plugs, wires, air filters (CFI), etc.).

Well, my FOURTH gen got a nice Kenwood CD player with an iPod cable, Bluetooth, Pandora streaming audio etc.
When I get off my lazy *** and order them, both 88s will get the same Lloyds direct fit front floor mats that currently grace the 86...with silver screaming chickens for the TA, and "camaro" logos for the IROC's mats. Wifey said if I ordered them I could have them for Christmas...guess I need to get going on that

I finally got another 3rd gen Camaro. Been wanting one since I sold mine in High School. Got a '87 IROC off a feller for nothing. The only catch, it was completely dismantled. Fun Fun.

Wife bought me Hedman 68460 long tube headers for my 92 RS... She asked me which one I wanted more, a car cover or headers.. naturally I said the headers.. already have a decent car cover for it... it was the headers that I have been looking at for some time now...

I did well, my son got me a set of Hotchkis lowering springs, the wife got me a new set of rear gears (3:42) along with a Walboro 255 pump. And Santa (AKA me) picked up a used but never installed tubular K member

LS valve covers and Ignition coils, brackets and harness. Still piecing the LSx swap together meanwhile doing some restore.

not for christmas but after christmas, new front struts, strut mounts, shocks, tierod ends and adjusters, new oil change and greased front end, all new weatherstripping, new door locks and door handles and some interior trim. thinking about getting her painted aswell. oh and a new z28 spoiler

my iroc got mostly cleaning supplies. car wash, wax, tire shine, interior wipes, rim cleaner, and a car cover since it doesnt get much street time, and parked under a tree.. uggh

Mine got a complement of the new parts she got last month : upper radiator hose, oil filter, damper extractor and installation tool, rear hatch seal and exhaust manifolds studs.
She will soon get a new batch of paint and primers because I don't have enought left.

Some guys here got some good gifts,
I got a Duralast suspesions kit (2 jack stands, chokes, jack, creeper) and my dad got a 150 PSI air compressor. Plan on redoing all my suspension this summer. So this will be a large help.

If I offended anyone, I'm sorry......I just thought this would be the best place to find out what people had gotten for their cars
We take the IROC out pretty often so she knows the problem areas. I hint around on some things but she got the console lid all by herself. She also bought me a 'Happy Hooker' for our 4th Gen Hawk so I can get to pulling the motor in March..

Fuel Injectors, Pick up coil, Ignition Control Module, and Adjustable Fuel Pressure Regulator all added within last month.Iroc on road again after sitting with bad injectors for a few months what a relief.

Judging from this thread most thirdgens just got a basic tune up for once.
Mine didn't get anything, its been getting spoiled all year so nothing besides a 9 bolt go through and a undercoating. My GTP got most of the gifts this xmas.
