Re: RPO CODE P87

Maybe, google GM RPO CODES their are a lot of sites, you may find your answer.
I don't think they would use any RPO codes on a title, they don't in Jersey

Re: RPO CODE P87

I think you mean 1FP87, located in the upper right corner of the SPID, and it's a body code for a 2-door coupe if I recall.

Re: RPO CODE P87

Can you clarify more what it is you're looking at? Did you see the P87 as an RPO code located on the SPID sheet in the center console? Is it listed on the title? Like JT stated, 1FP87 usually designates the car as coupe and not a convertible.

Re: RPO CODE P87

Maybe It's a abbreviated code for your state motor vehicles.I really think it has nothing to do with a RPO code.Take it to MV and ask what it is.

Re: RPO CODE P87

Now that he's clarified this, it is clearly not an RPO code. It's just the designation that the car is a coupe. That's it. They could have used better terms for the title, but they didn't. At this point, just take it that they are stating the model type is a coupe and not a convertible.
