WS6 wheels
Could you get WS6 wheels without ordering the WS6 package?
I'm talking the 20 fin w/ silver cap w/ WS6 lettering.
If so, what models had that option? And if you could get those on a non WS6 bird, did they have different center caps?

Re: WS6 wheels
Those wheels were specific to the Formula model, which had WS6 suspension as standard equipment.
Non-WS6 cars came with a similar looking rim but in 15"x7" size.

Re: WS6 wheels
The pic in post #3 looks like the 15" wheel.
This is a 16" that have different offset for front and rear, which I believe is the "WS6" wheel for certain years:

Re: WS6 wheels
Picture in post #3 is the '88-92 16"x8" Formula wheel. The 15" version doesn't have the fake screw holes around the perimeter.
Picture in post #6 is 1984 15th Anniversary T/A(painted white), 85-87 Trans Am with WS6, and 1987 Formula 16"x8" wheel.

Re: WS6 wheels
Thanks Dens71TA. That's the info I was looking for. The #6 post wheel I had on an 86 T/A w/ WS6. I've heard that wheel called the convex WS6, and the #3 post wheel called the concave WS6. Is that right?

Re: WS6 wheels
So looks like all 15" wheels had the same offset front and back, and all 16" wheels had a different offset front and back. And I think there were only 3 - 16" wheels to choose from. Am I right?
