I have two RPO codes which come up as follows

1SZ - ???

And one which the system does not recognize:

Re: Unknown RPO codes

1AY means the dealer configured your car, (versus a customer checking off options on an order sheet)

Thats all I know.

Re: Unknown RPO codes

Is it unusual for a dealer configured RS to have a 5 speed rather than an automatic?

The decoder that I used says....

1AY Order Modification Stock
1SZ Discount Option Package

Haven't a clue as to what either of these mean but it appears that there are discrepancies between decoder sites.

Re: Unknown RPO codes

Yeah, it's strange, some of that crap is cryptic.

For instance, my '89 Oldsmobile Custom Cruiser has this code:

U39 : CLUSTER, INST, OIL, COOL TEMP, VOLTS, TRIP ODOM

Yet it has a radio dial speedometer. Strange, isn't it?
