Help w/Engine Code & Partial Vin

I am trying to identify this engine. Was sold as a 350 TPI (seller said was from abt. 1985 Corvette). In researching, I am now sure it is NOT as advertised. These are the numbers I have found;

Engine Code - V0930CHB
V = plant = Flint
09 = month = Sept.
30 = day = 30th
CHB = Engine Suffix Code

CHB according to www.nastyz28.com only corresponds to a 1988 Firebird with a 305 TPI

So now I am trying to figure out the Partial Vin to confirm what www.nastyz28.com is showing. The Partial Vin I think (?) reads as follows;

1 JL 11650 with possibly another 1 on the end ?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
I have a picture and tried to attach it, but I must be doing something wrong.

Re: Help w/Engine Code & Partial Vin

On the partial VIN, the "J" would make it an 88, the "L" would be a car assembled in Van Nuys (F body).
