odd Luxury trim

in my life ive only touched 2 LT camaros and studyed them
i own one and it has 2 fuel pumps...
block mounted and tank pump
ive never seent his before on any other camaro
except the other LT
WHy was my car installed with 2 fuel pumps? and has this ever been heard of before?

Are you sure that the "in tank" pump your talking about isn't just the fuel level sending unit?

im sure... bs i checked my fuse panel
it says FP/INJ
i unplug it and the buzzing from the tank stops
its a pump
i know my car inside and out

Not terribly uncommon. IIRC, the L69's were so equipped.

You never mention the year of your car, but since LT was a one-year option, I can assume it is an '87. All '87 LG4 cars got the in-tank pump. 86 LG4 cars did not get the in-tank pump. Nothing to do with the trim level, and everything to do with the engine.

My 87 Sport Coupe LG4 Has 2 pumps. They had a vapor locking problem with them so they put a booster pump in the tank. Discovered it when my car started vapor locking.

My 87 Formula had both pumps... So does my Dads 1969 Buick Riviera of all things... Wasn't a new idea at the time.
