No, in fact they usually shipped without the front plate bracket installed. Done by the dealer,if at all.

My 91 RS came from the factory with one rpo code VK3. I think it depends on what state it shipped to originally.

Don't Think You Can BumpaD82,Unless Someone On This Site Is Selling One,That's The Original Plate That Was On The Car When I Picked It Up From The Dealership In 1984.

I believe you are correct......

My 82 Z28 had the black one on it. I bought the car from the original owner and she said when she saw the car sitting in the showroom, she fell in love with it.

BUT, it didn't have the plate on it. She told the salesman, "Put the Camaro plate on the front and I'll buy it". And so it was.

Back then, Ya just didn't mess-around with a Lady that wanted HER new Z28 'Right'.

Those plates were used on 82-84 camaros.I have one available if anyone is interested

RPO VK3 is not the license plate in question but actually the license plate bracket.
