Yes.. 1990 was an abbreviated year for the IROC.Z There were only 4,213 produced. (Out of interest, there was stuff going on at GM that year and the 1990 Firebird numbers were low for 1990 as well).

Here's a link from thirdgen.org explaining things: https://www.thirdgen.org/1990-chevy-camaro

From the White Book:

1990 IROC coupe = 4213
1990 IROC drop top = 1294

Most people in the collector car world consider less then 100 built rare.

Post some pix of the car please. I would not say it's a rare car, just a lower production car. I know someone that has a nice 1990 IROC LB9 5-speed with 80k on the clock. They are out there, but with only 20k on the clock that does make it worth more.

Probably worth about 11-12k if it's mint and you present it well. I wouldn't expect more than that in today's market. A mint '87 LB9/M5 with 9,000 miles that had over 100 great pix on ebay just went for 12.6k. I don't think the "rarety" of a 1990 will push you over 12k. Unfortunately, or maybe fortunately, there have been so many sub-20,000 mile F-bodies on the market over the last two years or so, they just don't raise too many eyebrows (or bidding wars) anymore.
