My restoration effort was lagging.

Traded it to a fella who is healthier than me last weekend.

He aint wasting no time!

That guy is living my dream! Hope he enjoys it

Sorry you had to move on from it, but I hope you enjoyed your time as it's caretaker, and have some good memories.

Thanks.

I had 10 years of enjoyment with it.

I had “back issues” before I got it in 2013. Those issues have progressed. If I drive a manual transmission in any significant stop/go traffic for more than an hour. The repercussion is noticeable. And that’s before I spend an hour hunched over, or crawling around on my back. It was time to quit pretending that the juice was worth the squeeze.

I’m so glad the young new owner has resources and health to give what it deserves. He is transplanting the LS with T56 and strong rear end from a less-straight Berlinetta. The fella who came with him and the trailer was an older gentleman who clearly knows his way around these cars.

And I’ve got another rifle to play with in exchange. That works for me.

This today from the new owner:

“Another update on the car, moser 12 bolt 3.73 rear end installed, basically the whole umi suspension catalog, adjustable control arms, adjustable panhard bar, adjustable torque arm, koni yellow shocks, and some lowering but not too crazy low lowering springs. Front suspension should be next”
