Re: RPO tag gone

For your 1988 GTA, the only option is to order an invoice through GM Archive at http://www.gmmediaarchive.com or to find the build sheet. Build sheets could be just about anywhere in the car as there was no standard location, if they're in the car at all.

Note that the invoice will not contain every single RPO on the SPID.

PHS http://phs-online.com/order.htm Is now doing up to the 2000s now.If you go that rout,PHS will list the rpo Options your car came with and the standard equipment will not have the rpo codes
I Got that GM Archives wrong ,Sorry

Re: RPO tag gone

You got it backwards. GM Archives covers 1987 and newer, which the OP has a 1988 and so GM Archives covers the vehicle. PHS covers older vehicles.

Per GM Archive's website, it lists:
Vehicle invoices are available for the following years:
Buick from 1982
Cadillac from 1980
Chevrolet from 1977
GMC from 1976
Oldsmobile from 1977
Pontiac from 1987
Saturn from 1994

Also, see the following post by Frankie on GTASourcePage that confirms the above:
http://www.gtasourcepage.com/forum/s...ad.php?t=50539

I have not heard of any recent change on this, so if there is, please show.

Re: RPO tag gone

Under the driver or passenger seat seems to be the most common place

Re: RPO tag gone

Are there places that do the Camaros also? I have been searching the forum and am coming up empty. I'd like to get the RPOs for my 88.

Re: RPO tag gone

Yes for invoices. http://www.gmmediaarchive.com does invoice copies for Camaros, too.

With the SPID itself, which some refer to as RPO tags, there is no known way to replicate all the information that's found on the SPID if it's missing.

Re: RPO tag gone

What will the invoice get me? I have contacted this website and they cannot give me an answer which gives me reservations about ordering. Will the invoice show just the options? Will it show if it is a G92 car? These are things I have been asked and would love to be able to answer. Thanks for the reply!
