Recalls, TSB's and SSM's
What kind of recalls were there on our thirdgens? I know about the seat belt recall on my 89 which I don't know if it was ever done. I also know about the fuel tank recall on the 91 and 92's. Were there any others that have flown under the radar here? What about TSB's and SSM's? Where could I find a list of the common problems that GM have found on our cars and the fixes that they sent to the dealerships?

There should be a small sticker under the hood with the recall campaign number hand written in pen. Unless the sticker has come off (which they all eventually do).
The only recalls I have heard about are for the seat belts and the fuel tank.
The seat belt campaign had the dealership install a new buckle button and some other internal hardware. I think you can tell if the buckle was reworked by looking for a sheet metal piece located opposite the button across the belt "tongue" slot.
I do know of one TSB regarding early TPI manifold bases warping (my '87 manifold was warped) and allowing oil/water to leak into into intake stream or outside of the engine.
