Car: 1989 Chevy Camaro Iroc-Z28
Engine: 305 TBI
Transmission: 4-speed Auto
trying to figure out if this 89 is a rs or z28
In the process of buying a camaro. The guy says its a tbi, and i know that the tbi came in the rs and iroc z. I was just wondering if im getting it wrong and the rs and z are the same thing, or if theyre not how can i tell the difference?

an RS will not have the Z28 code on the rpo sticker that is located in either the center console or rear LH side compartment.

With it being an '89 TBI car, there's unfortunately not much you can look at other than the RPO codes (assuming a previous owner hasn't removed the sticker like they usually do).
That being said, pray it has an RPO sticker.
