GTA questions
I have a couple questions I am trying to answer for a friend who wants a 91 GTA.
1. In 1991 were all 5.7 GTA's hard tops only? Could you get a 1991 GTA 5.7 with t-tops?
2. We're 1991 GTA's offered with the 5.0 TPI, 5-speed manual, and T-tops?
Thanks

Re: GTA questions
GTAsourcepage is where you could get a answer also.
Re: GTA questions
You could not get a factory 5.7L and factory CC1 T-Top combo on a Trans Am or GTA in 1990, 1991 or 1992.
This Pontiac bulletin, courtesy of GTASourcePage, suggests as such:

If you see any GTA against the above, it's either got aftermarket C&C T-Tops, not an original 5.7L, or possibly an export. For example, in 1987 you could get a factory 5.7L and factory T-Top GTA in Canada but not in the US.
Yes, you could get a 1991 GTA with factory T-Tops, 5.0L and 5-Speed.

Re: GTA questions
Okay, one more question. Would a 1991 or 1992 GTA have with a 305 LB9 auto transmission have the "peanut" cam or L98 cam in it?
Re: GTA questions
I checked with Compnine's database and they show no 1990 GTAs with the B2L and CC1 options - including the Z49 export. I would think it's more likely an aftermarket C&C conversion.
