Wiper question
What years were the various wiper motor/pumps used on? Read conflicting info on the late model delay wiper used from 86-92 and others 88-92
Trying to stock connectors for wiring harnesses. Older info is a bit harder to come by

Re: Wiper question
1988 was the change over year for the camaros. 1988 and up use a pair of sealed Metri-pack connectors for the wiper motor and separated washer pump in the washer fluid tank.

Re: Wiper question
Thanks John
Any chance you could snap a pic of the older connectors? I have the two most common 84-87 and 88-92's in stock
Wasnt there a difference in the standard and delay wiper connectors?

Re: Wiper question
Sure thing:

( Retaining clip is broken off )
Standard and Delay wiper motors use the same connector. I don't know how to tell a delay wiper motor from a non-delay simply by looking at it. I'm sure there's probably a part number on the circuit board mounted inside the cover - but I don't know how to tell just by looking at the motor (assembly).
Don't go too nuts trin' to find Berlinetta Wiper plugs. There's simply not enough demand to exert any stress - at all - in finding a supply to build custom harnesses. Add that to the fact that the Berlinetta wiper is pretty uncommon and I'm guessing that soon,....converting to the "regular" Camaro style wiper will be the only option that Berlinetta owners will have when thier original Wiper motor fails.
I rarely ever cut-up harnesses,... but the next time I dig thru my spare plug box I'll see if I can find any.

Re: Wiper question
P.S. I don't have an 82-83 Engine harness so I can't post the connector used for those 2 years.
