factory a/c delete

I recently bought an 86 z28 that has factory a/c delete. i didnt realize that the part of this option is a dashboard with deleted vents, and levers for vents under the column. even the passenger side lower cover is different. i know a/c delete was common in the early third gens. is there value to the components or complete set up?
