Original seats would be easy enough to find - added to my watch list.

Were dual cats pretty standard on GTAs? I thought in 89 usually N10 only came with G92. That is a pretty nice example and finding the correct seats would sure be worth it.

JG1 aluminum drive shaft & N64 aluminum spare tire options too!
About as close to the 1LE build as you could get with a regular production car, not to mention a convertible.

The GTAs, minus 1987, was pretty much a well equipped model. In 1989, all GTAs has the N64, 6,554 of the 8,470 had the JG1 and 3,068 of the 8,470 had the N10. N10 was a change in 1989 model year that became required on all 350s starting Jan 2, 1989 build week, according to a Pontiac CDB. These are figures Frankie from GTASourcepage reviewed.

That car is a nice looking car, wish it had the original seats... It has been on ebay a few times over the past few weeks...
118K Miles kill the value to some degree... if it was a low 20K - 40K mile car it would fare quite a bit better...
It appears to be in very good condition,
Here is what I see...
1) wrong seats
2) Wrong top,
3) Rear window appears too small,
4) Aftermarket runners (not a horrible thing but I think it hurts value for a car like this)
5) I suspect a cracked dash pad, otherwise why the carpet?
Looking at the pictures I would really have to inspect for accidents... The front appears to be in really good condition, the rear Conversion pieces are doing what mine are doing (original paint) the paint ASC used was not the best quality, it seemed to peal...
The good:
1) It is in AZ, so there should be 0 to very little rust.
2) It looks really good..

Re: 1989, 5.7, GTA, Convertible on ebay.
He started it at $15,000 or something before, so no one bid...
Historically they go for about what the 91-92 go for in the same condition...
A few years back I remember 2 convertibles, one was a 1991 Trans Am, the other was a 1989 GTA 350 vert, Both auto, both the same color, same miles, and the conditions were really similar... they sold within $200 of each other, I want to think the 350 pulled a little more, but it has been several years (Heck I have had mine for 9
)
In all honesty, I think the 87-89 Trans Am convertibles look better than the 91-92... I like the 91-92 spoiler better tho... I have considered buying a set for my 89, and put mine up in my barn...
