Strange production number stat ... his car is 1 of 23 made. Camaros were 97. So no idea where his 93 is from.

R7U was a marketing package for the Player's Challenge Series. It included 1LE as well as some other specific option for the series. Some of the odd things were power windows and locks. FWIW, Player's series cars made up the bulk of the 1LE cars in the early days.

He had to change the injectors and pulled the intake to do so. Not really opened, but not truly sealed. To his credit he was very forthcoming about it and has made no attempts to touch up the paint.
