Hi folks. I recently purchased a camaro just like the one I fell in love with as a child. It's a 92 rs with an L03 backed by a 700r4. The guy I bought it from said it was a W-30 package. I may be mistaken but I don't think the 92 came in a W-30 package. Anyone know if they did come in W-30 package. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

 

Fairly certain W-30 is a Oldsmobile rpo code buuuuut I could be mistaken.

 

I checked every build sheet ad SPID that I have on file and not a single '92 had the W30 listed. Is it possible he got the RPO screwed up and meant Z03? That's the Heritage Edition and was only available in 1992.

 

When you are the buyer, you can disregard EVERYTHING the seller tells you. Let the car or the documents do the talking.

 

W-30 is an Oldsmobile performance package and is very desireable on older 442's. Not a Camaro offering.

 

I just hope you didn't pay anything extra for that "W30" package....

He is an older guy. And a good friends step father. My friend even said he is a little off his rocker. But what would it include in the Z03 package?

 

Stick on's and colored accents.

 

The Z03 included the hood and deck rally stripes, body colored lower grill area, instead of a black insert and a metal plate on the rear that designates 25th Anniversary.
