Hmm... Between the lack of photos and the quality of the ones given, I'd have guessed low miles, but not as low as 1300.

Appliance White with a yellow and gray accent stripes... Had a pair of bitchin' Reebok high tops in 1987 with the same color scheme.

Just saw the ebay ad for the white 88 Vert. I had some of the same concerns also. Could not check the auto check through the ebay listing to verify ownership.I like the white with that stripe combo Charlie. My white 90 Vert 5 -speed is going on ebay real soon. Jim

Jim, you need to start posting pictures of your cars on TGO. People here will appreciate it!

Something is fishy about this one.. $20k starting bid seems like a bait bit..
The lack of pictures is also strange..
If I were selling a 1300 mile car I'd want to include pics underneath, door jams, engine, interior, close ups of buttons, switches, etc.. Door panels, etc
I'd also have pics of window sticker, manuals, build sheet, etc..
I'd definitely send an appraiser first..
Not the best sales job, but could be a great car.. The miles are so low though, I'd worry if the thing started I bet it's burning and leaking oil all over.. Not to mention brakes, suspension, front end, trans.. Ugghh.
Would have expected more written details and original tires (even though they can't be driven on)

270hp my A**! This guy didn't do it but I absolutely hate it when someone lists something on EBay with NO RESERVE in huge letters. Then their starting bid is sky high! To me a true no reserve auction starts the bidding at ZERO!

For a car with super low miles and a starting bid of $20k I'd expect this car to be kept at a car club or museum where they keep the cars detailed and dust free, let them run regularly and change the oil.
(They have places near Boston that will keep your car for you, inside, climate controlled, detailed and maintained with all fluids, etc..)
Just show up and a guy gets your car for you.
Either that or some statement of how the owner kept the miles so low and was able to maintain the vehicle and not just let it sit..
People are trying to get the low mile IROCS to $30k.. One of my favorite ones is this one:
http://streetsideclassics.com/vehicl...maro-iroc-z-28

Would have made an offer on this one much lower but had a feeling these guys won't budge and found a better deal. This one has been sitting there at this price a long time.. I don't know if the market it quite at $30k yet..

No sweat guys, I am not offended in the least.
In fact, I'll admit something: I LOVE that silver and yellow stripe on a white car. Fairly rare too. I considered the exact color combo on an L03, 5 speed, 'vert last year, but we couldn't meet on price.

In the case of the 'vert, luggage rack removal seems simple, but it's no easy fix on a low mile car like that. Do you just pull it off? Are there holes in the trunk? If it's original paint, how do you correct it?

That's funny.. The luggage rack bothered me too..
I think some of them came from dealers with a luggage rack..
Reminds me of those terrible fox body mustangs with luggage racks..
Such a shame.. The interior is awesome on that car even though I do not love the airbag steering wheel..
