I want to build a recreational car and this is what I have in mind. What do you guys think?

Black 90/91 RS 5speed with T-Tops.
Replace the 305 with a 350 rebuilt gm engine with bored out pistons etc. Nice cam setup with headers, dual exhaust with 2 cutouts for the track. Darkest legal tint possible, Front & Back Blackouts, 6" Cowl induction hood, borla tips, M/T steet legal slicks with cragar racing rims, IROC front grille insert, IROC Rear Spoiler, IROC side emblems, & a B&M Ripper Shifter.

That's my dream car. I can't think of anything that would look any better and run any better for the price you could get that for.

 

Might want to think about a T-56, the T-5 doesn't like to hold up under the 350s torque. That or you'll need to increase the str. a little bit.

Just one question... what does that have to do with history and restoration? History and restoration typically mean returning the car to stock configuration and/or asking how the car was originally. I'm going to lock this thread because thirdgen.org has had to become a fully tech only site. You can research any of your concerns on the various boards as long as the questions fall under the correct catagories.
