I just want to add for those unfamiliar. While that service is great (I help provide that to other ThirdGen members from time to time) if a VIN doesn't have the RPO codes, the definitions included in those reports can be a little off. This is very common with any site/service trying to provide RPO definitions without accounting for the model year and platform. GM reused many RPO codes.

For our ThirdGens, just look at the popular RPO code Y84. Depending on which point in the ThirdGen timeline you're looking it, it's not the same.

We have a list of RPO codes and definitions for the 1992 Firebird that came out of the 1992 Firebird service manual. Problem is that even that list isn't complete.
