That car looks amazing. Could you share who did the steering wheel and how much?

I had the wheel restored by Chuck Pelton. He is in West Bloomfield Michigan. He will restore a wheel "made to order" so to speak, and when he is done you send him your old wheel and payment, and he will send you the restored wheel. Your old wheel will then get restored and sold to somebody else.

I can't comment on prices as Im sure they have gone up since I had mine done in 2012. You can call him at (248) 363-5025. You can also google his name and find many positive reviews from the Corvette guys.

I totally agree with you about this car! Some car models don't look good in white, but the third gen in my opinion looks great.

I'm going try and get my NOS exhaust installed this upcoming week and have it done in time for Camaro Superfest here in Michigan. Pics soon...

Re: The Story Of My 1985 IROC-Z. Back To Factory Fresh.

Motown, very interesting thread. You commented on my post last week, and the white 85 I just picked up. Your starting point was ahead of mine, especially paint, but I enjoyed seeing your process and the final outcome. I plan to have mine for the long haul, so I want to do it right, and not "fast".... Maybe someday we will cross paths since you are in a neighboring state! Again, congrats on the beautiful outcome!
