History / OriginalityGot a question about 1982-1992 Camaro or Firebird history? Have a question about original parts, options, RPO codes, when something was available, or how to document your car? Those questions, answers, and much more!
you dont see alot of nice blue 87's around anymore for sale .. this seems like it would be a nice car to cruise around in on the weekends .. i bet mid 14's buys this car ..
IDK, my 87 has been in the garage, under a cover for 20 years and the paint on the rear bumper is delaminating. For that matter it could just be lighting.
Can't help but think if he wants that money for that car, he's going to have to put it in front of collectors, like Ebay or one of the collector auctions.
heres a all original 87 blue iroc i was looking at over the summer with 10,000 miles on it and the color looks the same .. the lighting changes it a little bit
Here is an 85 Iroc blue with 19k on in and in the photos it looks like the bumper cover is a slightly different shade. I think it is a lighting thing. Photos 8 and 9
Nice Camaro & right across the pond from me. Not too exciting to see the undercoating & application plugs in the jambs though. I really hate that stuff.....
Do the jambs look a little rough, or just the lighting? surface near the plastic looks dimpled & there is a line parallel with the rocker plastic just inside the jamb. Other than that the car looks great!
Those tail lights looked too old and abused for the mileage claim. I also agree that the door jambs look questionable. The gas door also appears to be off, being darker than the rest of the car. The steering wheel looks worn and window switches have the letters worn off. The wiring under the hood doesn't look right either. I question the status of this car!
I love the later year blues, and I always says they're just as good....but then someone shows a pic of that 85 blue and..... I just stare and drool. LOVE that lighter blue.
Is it bad that all bright blue thirdgens look the same to me? I know the color codes are different. I'm sure that if you parked them all in a row, or took a part off one and bolted it on another it'd be obvious, but in passing... I'm not sure why I can't differentiate between the different blues.
