Re: ANOTHER INTERESTING CAR...

It looks alright. Definitely needs a different wheel and tire package though.

Re: ANOTHER INTERESTING CAR...

The reason the fiberglass body panels still look good is because the car hasn't been driven. It would be a cracked up mess if the car had been driven. Look how the front fenders and the chin spoiler are molded together, no way that would survive being driven without shifting and cracking.

That said, with a proper manual trans and the correct wheels and tires, I think it could be an awesome look. Would be better if the fenders were separate and were held on with Dzus fasteners, which would eliminate the cracking problem and give the car a more raw edged road race look. The wide body look with drag race style mechanicals is just plain mis-matched.

Re: ANOTHER INTERESTING CAR...

Lotta dedication in the bodywork, and zero imagination in the wheels. Nice car tho.

Not a fan of the disco wide-body or the mixing of Firebird door panels in a Camaro. You don't cross the streams, everyone knows that.

Oh you just haven't seen one done correctly yet. I have a parts car that I call "transmarobird". it's an 87 Trans Am with a 91 Z28 front end. The car is orange, the front end is black spray can. One look at this top choice build and you'd change your mind for sure....
