You said you recently purchased this car, but you want to know what it's worth. Are you looking to just flip this car? If so, it's not rare and probably worth what you paid for it.

Rear wiper is fairly rare by 1985 but not necessarily desirable. LS seats are cool, unless they need to be re-upholstered, in that case prepare your checkbook, plus you'll never find correct bolster fabric.

Post pics.

The rear wiper will actually cost you as people don't like its looks and will want to remove it. The seats are cool, but not really a value increase. As was said, people are aware of the cost to redo the seats and most will question how much it will cost to remove the wiper. If you plan on keeping the car, then don't worry about it's worth. Enjoy it for what it is and if you got it for a great price, then enjoy that also.

Thanx for the replys...yeah figured it would be impossible to find that fabric ..drivers seat has a small rip in it .....Desirable and rare doesn't go hand in hand was just wondering combinations... the rear wiper with the Ls interior together ..wonder what other options may have been available in 85 that the car doesn't have and the most desirable ones... thanx again

Keep it as original as possible. I like the rear wiper and others out there may too, particulaly on a loaded 85IROCZ. The seats are interesting enough that there are enough people out there that would find the fabric replacement worth the effort. Take me for example. You have the perfect IROCZ.

you are correct but I would say (SOME PPL) may not like the way it looks with the wiper it isn't as desirable to many .... I enjoy all my cars , I like them for what they are .original equipment etc. . as these cars develop into collector cars for some ... seems that options and combinations will make certain cars more stand out rare or not (more options or no options) to each is own.. ..Theres plenty Iroc's with standard options that 90% of them all have but desirability will be the key ...

kinda like trans am GTA steering wheel controlls or Aerocoupe monte Carlos etc.....some ppl like some ppl don't but still those cars are increasing in value

"Rare" is one of those terms that is really hard to apply to thirdgens with a straight face. From 82-87 they made tons of them. 90's and 92's seem a little less common than earlier years, but they really aren't what someone would call rare.

The options that make a car desirable are generally performance related. Options that were axed quickly, generally are ones that most people don't appreciate now, the same as they didn't then. The rear wiper was always a goofy, unnecessary option. It looks like an afterthought and messes up the smooth lines of the car, without adding any value.

Some people like the LS "Camaro, Camaro, Camaro, Camaro, Camaro, Camaro, Camaro, Camaro, Camaro, Camaro" interior, but some find it to be tacky and overwhelming.

Personally I wouldn't worry about value except to say avoid V6 and most 305s and most junkers like the plague.
