How much should I offer?
Hello everyone. This is my first post. This is a really nice forum, very easy to navigate compared to others I've seen. Anyhow here is the question: I have the chance to purchase an 86 IROC from the original owner with 85K miles on it. It has the LG4 engine, auto trans, no T-tops, black exterior, no rust (complete paint a few years back) garage kept. Car is 100% stock with exception of the tires. I've been on Hagerty and I've looked online and the values are all over the place. What would be a decent offer without insult? Sorry I don't have pictures but it is really in very good condition. Any suggestions would be appreciate.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Where in Illinois are you?
Get pics. A picture in worth a thousand words. A bunch of pics, even better.

A few things kick the value in the ***** right off the top. 1986, LG4, auto, hardtop, mileage. Doesn't mean a person could buy it or one like it for a pittance, it just means the lack of performance options and that damn third brake light has a strong chance of inspiring buyer's remorse. Personally, if you're not in love with it, I'd hold out for a later car with more desirable options.
