proabably very few, Considering that USUALLY the 350 did NOT have T-tops. There out there, but unusual. Some will argue that none were ever made, so beware of those folks.

89 & 92 were the major years that T-tops were available on a 350 car, that I have found literature for. But I believe if you knew someone in the factory, or a higher up you could feasably get a 350 with T-tops if you have the right connections.

That does not answer your question, but it might help.

now that would be a rarity, 5 speed & T-tops with a 350... MAKE SURE IT IS A 350, the 8th Vin Didget will be an 8 for a 350 TPI, & an F with the 305 TPI

Unlike the 350/T-top combo I have NEVER seen a 350/5 speed combo from the factory... I think the 5 speed could not take the punishment...

Check the RPO codes. TTops are RPO CC1, the 350 is RPO L98 and B2L. If it doesn't have the RPO code sheet, then walk away cause the ttops are either aftermarket or the car isn't a 350. The RPO sheet will be in the console or in the locking glovebox in the trunk. Also check the VIN number and make sure the 8th digit is a number 8 and that the VIN on the car matches the VIN on the RPO sheet.

If it all matches and the car has CC1 and L98, B2L, get a picture, cause its one of very few and one has yet to be documented here.

Is there not a code found in the VIN to indicate T-Tops? The 8th didget of the VIN is an 8 so it is a 5.7..

T-tops is not indicated in the vin... Like Drew stated, for that information you will have to look at the RPO sheet. It has all the build codes for that car, It should be either in the center console, or in the rear hatch glovebox...

Since its a 91, its hard to say where the RPO sheet will be because sometime in 91 they changed the loaction from the center console to the rear hatch area...

If no RPO sheet then write down the VIN, you might get Pontiac to issue you another RPO sheet.

For the most part you might be able to tell if it is a factory T-top by looking at the car. The aftermarket T-tops that I have seen seem to be different than the Stock ones. I am not saying there all like this.

How you might be able to tell some of the aftermarket T-tops is around the windshield. The Factory tops have the same width of metal between the windshield and the T-tops as between the Windshield and the door windows. Aftermarket T-tops seem to leave more metal between the windshield and T-tops, about twice as much.

It is also possible for a hard top to be converted to t-tops by cutting off the tops and welding on the new one. If this was the case...as Drew stated, back away really slow... turn then RUN, who knows what kind of butchering has gone on with this car. It might even be a case of changed VIN. there are lots of possiblities.

Check the RPO sheet, to be safe...

John

What year CC1/L98/B2L's are you looking to document?

826? I thought it wasa bit higher, like 2,035 GTA's in 1991 and 226 in 1992.

Are my numbers wrong?

The production number game continues....

#'s from this page..
I don't know which is correct-I also have heard 2k+ were made, but the production charts at this very page say differently, so I just quoted that one to emphasize my question

90-up L98+CC1 need to be documented... 87-89 Camaro or Firebird was easy to come by with ttops and the L98. Anything after that is open to debate till someone takes a picture of the car, the VIN, and the SPID.

350 t-top combo with the firebird is somewhat rare, but only because the cars are so old...........they were made and it was a very sought after option.

350 t-top combo on the camaro was only offered to a few iroc camaro's..............none during 90 and absolutely no 91-92 350's ever came off the gm assembly line.

anyone who has a 90-92 z28 with a 350 and t-tops either did a engine transplant or had dealer installed t-tops. gm never produced the cars.

firebird formula and trans am's had them, even some irocs had them.........but never the 90 iroc nor the 91-92 z if you wanted a 350.
