Lexamar on TTop glass. What is this?

My tops needed lubrication so took it apart and found this. pretty sure it is glass? why does it say this?

AFAIK, you'll find a LEXAMAR sticker on most all factory third gen t-tops, whether they're the late style, lightweight scratch-prone plastic ones or not. I have the stickers on my glass ones as well.
